How quickly can you visit us in East Sussex?
We're based in Pulborough, West Sussex, and visit every family at home before introducing any carers. In East Sussex, we can usually visit within two days of your first call.
From Brighton and Hove along the coast to Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings, East Sussex has a large share of older residents, many living on their own and some way from their families. Inland, the Wealden villages around Uckfield, Crowborough and Heathfield can be a long drive from the nearest care home, which makes help at home all the more valuable.

Why families in East Sussex choose live-in care through us
Life carries on at home
Their own kitchen, garden, pets and neighbours, and one-to-one care rather than staff shared between residents.
The house stays yours
When care is given at home, the council doesn't count the house when it works out what you pay. In a care home it usually does, after 12 weeks. Will we have to sell the house?
Couples stay together
Two nursing home places in East Sussex can cost £3,900 a week. With us, a couple who both need care pays from £1,445 a week, and keeps their own bedroom. If only one of you needs care and the other just needs help with cooking and housekeeping, it's £1,260 a week.
Fewer new faces
In CQC-registered home care agencies, nearly three in ten care workers leave each year (Skills for Care, 2025). You choose two regular carers who share the role for the long term.
What help with funding is there in East Sussex?
Council adult social care
Most of East Sussex: East Sussex County Council's Health and Social Care Connect, 0345 60 80 191 (8am to 8pm, every day), or the council's online self-assessment.
Brighton and Hove: Brighton & Hove City Council's Access Point, the main contact for adult social care.
If the council funds some of the care, it can pay it as a direct payment, which can be used to pay a care agency or employ a personal assistant. Ask the social worker whether it can be used for live-in care.
NHS Continuing Healthcare
Assessed by the All-Age Continuing Care team at NHS Surrey and Sussex (formerly NHS Sussex). Ask your loved one's GP, nurse or social worker to complete a checklist, or contact the team on 0300 561 1444 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).
