Questions carers often ask

What kind of care do you introduce carers for?

We introduce carers for ongoing live-in care in a person’s own home. Tell us about your experience and the kind of support you feel confident providing.

Which areas do you cover?

West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and Berkshire. You can select more than one area in the registration form.

Do I need previous live-in care experience?

Tell us about your care experience, qualifications and training, including experience outside live-in care. We will discuss your background and suitability with you before any introduction.

What checks will I need?

We will discuss identity and right-to-work checks, references, relevant training and the appropriate DBS checks with you. Registration alone does not mean you have been approved or verified.

Can I apply without uploading a CV or DBS certificate?

Yes. Documents are optional at this stage. You can describe your experience in the form, and we can discuss the appropriate documents and checks when we contact you.

Can I choose my availability and preferred working pattern?

Yes. Tell us when you are available, which areas you can work in and your preferred rotation. Arrangements depend on a suitable introduction and agreement with the family.

How are fees and payments agreed?

We will explain our terms and the proposed payment arrangements before you decide whether to proceed. The agreed care fee and working arrangements should be clear before a placement starts.

Does registering guarantee a placement?

No. Introductions depend on suitability, the checks required, your availability and the family’s choice. We will contact you to discuss your registration.

What happens after I register?

Once your application has been successfully submitted, our team can review your experience and contact you about next steps. No account, contract or placement is created automatically.
